Update on DIBroker East-Eskra Office Procedures

DIBroker East is open and continuing to function more or less as usual.

All of our staff have the ability to work from home and some are already doing so.

For us, the biggest challenge for having everyone work remotely is dealing with the physical mail - apps or policies that are mailed or overnighted to us.

To this end we encourage all of our brokers to do the following:

  1. Use eApps with all carriers for which they are available. If you are not set up with a specific carrier to use their eApp, please let us know and we will get you set up.
  2. Use the Secure Upload on www.dibrokereast.com for all non-eApps, contracting paperwork, delivery requirements—anything that you might normally send in hard copy.
  3. Encourage the EFT option for all of your new cases.
  4. Use policy e-Delivery when available - if it is available with a given carrier, this is how we will send the policies to be delivered.

 

We are working with those carriers that still mail us policies for workarounds.
