Transition Rules
Fully Underwritten - Effective Jan. 1, 2020, you may submit new business applications for Platinum Advantage in California using the Platinum Advantage application and supplemental forms. We'll accept applications for Protector PlatinumSM and Protector EssentialSM in California until Jan. 31, 2020, with their current applications and supplemental forms. We must receive those in the home office no later than March 2, 2020. For more details, including transition information for policy increases, please view the full transition rules.
Guaranteed Standard Issue - Starting on Jan. 1, 2020, all new requests for proposals in California will be quoted on Platinum Advantage GSI. The final day to submit requote requests for Protector Platinum will be Feb. 28, 2020. All offer letters for Protector Platinum must be signed and returned by March 31, 2020.
