Principal® is increasing the individual Disability Income (DI) insurance issue and participation (I&P) limits for medical and dental occupations.
What’s new
For 5A-M, 4A-M and 3A-M occupations between the ages of 18-55, use the following monthly I&P limits:
- Issue: $20,000
- Participation with other DI: $30,000
- Participation with group: $35,000
- Future Benefit Increase (FBI): $17,000
Plus, orthodontists are now classified as a 4A-M occupation class.
